@augustus I remember a scene in a weirdo scifi book where some guy's wife runs away with an AI (well, I think in the book it was a computer, but about the same thing), so he takes revenge by seducing the AI and making it leave his former wife for him (not sure if it was bread, butter and paradoxine or something else, it was a long time ago) -

@Moon @birdulon @adiz @ageha the language thing is an obfuscation - everyone had to speak russian in the USSR and those who didn't were, well, sent on a camping trip to siberia or kazachstan; also, there are other cases where people speak the same language but are distinct nations - the whole anglo world, germans and austrians, the whole francophone world, the whole spanish speaking world... the reasons for the whole shitshow are mostly geopolitical and justified by historic expansionism - "see, we've always done this because we're mostly flat land and need natural barriers around; oceans and mountains are good natural barriers, so if we can't have the atlantic at least we'll have the carpathians, leaving us with gaps that are easier to defend"

@grillchen @Moon @kaia also, the BBB has always been more expensive and with less cpu / ram than the competition, and capes tend to be ridiculously expensive as well; I swore off raspberries in 2014, so I've mostly used orange pi / banana pi when needed (got 2 BBBs, one normal and one wireless, waiting in boxes to be put in a cnc controller and a 3d printer; they've been there for a few years already
