In Streetview, if you go to the Franco-Italian border at Ventimiglia, there's a guy coming out of the first shop on Italian soil with a T-Shirt saying GET OUT
@selzero as in never directly quote it, or screenshot it. Notice how they never do that. Because they refuse to spread their adversaries' points of view for them.
At the very least put it behind a content warning. I don't want to have that feeling of impending doom every fucking day for the rest of my miserable life.
Maybe we could just ignore Musk, how is that? He has his own platform to crybaby in, no need to run to Mastodon with every brainfart of that car salesman.
@Lana@jstogdill@benroyce It doesn't sit well with me that the shooting doesn't cause more uproar. It's still someone acting as judge and executioner on his own, like a god, and we do not know exactly why, and we do not know if there's anyone else on their list, and who that might be.
@clintruin@QasimRashid Religion doesn't enter into it at all. I know I shouldn't even be starting this argument because it's utterly pointless, but calling this a religious war is like calling the Troubles a religious war.
It has nothing to do with gods. Many Israelis are not religious. Many Palestinians are not Muslim. These crude oversimplifications only serve to stoke up hatred in the rest of the world, against the Jews or the Muslims, or religion in general.
@selzero@kaia if you like your (red) wines with a stronger flavour, choose wines from more southern regions. Doesn't always work that way, there's some great wine from northern Italy with strong flavour like Lagrein, but in general it's a good rule of thumb.
Funny how those who condemn Biden for his stance on Israel, never talk about the other guy. They seem to like him a lot more in the Apartheid state. One wonders why.
@Miro_Collas@palestine Whereas in the Netherlands a proposal has been voted in Parliament to criminalize the slogan 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free'.
@UnconventionalEmma Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose has a monastery's library and scriptorium at the center of the story. And it's very famous, having been made into a big Hollywood movie and all.
"When Coca-Cola publicly released the report in September 2010, it revealed that it takes 35 liters of water to make every half-liter of Coke in Holland."
Boring old know-it-all.Rotterdammer in the Italian region of Calabria. I write mostly in Dutch. I'm a leftie in more ways than one. Sometimes I blog on stationzuid.wordpress.com. Threads is blocked.He/him. Posts deleted after three months.
