@evan the answer as with some things, is that it depends.
I would say credentials such as database details should only exist as env variables or config file; they may be useful for testing if allowed to be set via cli args and only ever via a web interface if its an installer.
For things such as pagination_n_items having them settable by all of the above is fine, with a web interface being the overrider.
@thomasfuchs I've long been of the opinion that social media that lumps everyone into one infinite feed is incompatible with how our brains evolved to socialise.
The old internet, the one with individual tribes in the form of forums and the like was much better suited to how humans work together because it was so fragmented and siloed akin to how we evolved to function as a group.
@roadriverrail@ElleGray Victory V sweets used to contain it and I believe a cannabis extract as flavourings. You can still get them today and they apparently taste the same according to elderly relatives who had the originals. I’m guessing they’re what this cough syrup would have tasted like.
@astrojuanlu@atomicpoet@fediversenews same. It being absolutely opt-in and supporting the right to be forgotten makes it useful for those who want that functionality while not harming those who don’t.
