What does your message about older posts mean regarding #Fediverse feed processing? I have a new post on #Threads, but it doesn't show up here.

My #Threads handle is @kidehen@threads.net, which actually shows up here but without an ability to actually see any posts.

Does anyone know if #Fediverse integration works between this space and #Threads?

@youid itself is a verifiable credentials generator for the #NetIDTLS protocol.

NetIDTLS (a TLS Client Authentication Protocol Tweak) can offer an additional #Identity #Authenticity protocol sitting alongside “rel=me” — for instance.

The Mastodon API as currently implemented lacks important auto-discovery for endpoints.

Note, the Client-Server aspect of #ActivityPub is for a #Fediverse comprising loosely-couple clients and servers.

You are expressing a point of view that's played out repeatedly over 30+ years with utterly predictable outcomes.

Seeking Mastodon specificity is contradictory to the Fediverse ethos.

@davew @mike @Mastodon Users shouldn't have to trust Mastodon to do the right thing re its #API (which is an opinionated #ActivityPub implementation).

Mastodon cannot get blinded by its short-term growth (which is still minuscule in the grand scheme of things re #SocialMedia) and forget the ultra-importance of a #Fediverse where clients and servers are loosely-coupled.

A number of us have watched this movie repeatedly, over some 30+ years. The outcome is predictable.
