@darnell Stay in Sendai. It's a beautiful, modern city full of nice people. Close enough to Tokyo if you need to get there, but far enough to avoid, well, Tokyo. Also close to Akita. (When I say close, I mean shinkansen-close.)

If you're planning to go West, I'd recommend staying in Hiroshima. You can easily reach Kansai and Yamaguchi from there, and visit Miyajima. It also has great bookstores.

@p Someone thought it would be funny to spam users with the words “NIGGER BALLS”, so management decided to use what was obviously a stupid, childish prank and turn it into a publicity stunt (aka “far-right attack”).

@prettygood I use NewPipe instead (https://newpipe.net/), which has the added advantage that it also works with PeerTube, Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and lets me download everything.
