@ins0mniak 311 is not Verizon. It is the US. The MCC is the Mobile Country Code. The MNC is the Mobile Network Code, which identifies, well, the network, but usually corresponds with a mobile operator or carrier. (I just happen to work with those.)

@rooktallon I haven't tested it, but Blirc (https://github.com/lower-elements/blirc) is “designed to be used by blind or visually impaired people.” Or so it says in its README file.

I assume Irssi, being a (very good) command-line client, should also be fairly accessible, but you would probably need a speech synthesizer to use it. The following link has tips on how to configure it for your use case:

@darnell Stay in Sendai. It's a beautiful, modern city full of nice people. Close enough to Tokyo if you need to get there, but far enough to avoid, well, Tokyo. Also close to Akita. (When I say close, I mean shinkansen-close.)

If you're planning to go West, I'd recommend staying in Hiroshima. You can easily reach Kansai and Yamaguchi from there, and visit Miyajima. It also has great bookstores.

@prettygood I use NewPipe instead (https://newpipe.net/), which has the added advantage that it also works with PeerTube, Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and lets me download everything.
