I used to carry an adequate phone, a decent camera, a pretty good GPS, a pretty good mobile computer, and a damn fine music player.

Now I have one device that's bad at all those things and costs so much more than the sum of its parts that I have to finance it over 2 years.

Put him in an operating theatre, and the patient will fucking die because he's not a surgeon and knows nothing about really doing surgery.

I met a moose once.
I was in a canoe in a shallow, windy creek. Rounded a corner and there's a moose, standing ankle deep, and I almost bonked the boat into his shin. It was stunning, I felt like I was looking up and up and up forever and it was just moose and moose and moose, all the way up. I've never before felt so small and fragile, nor at the mercy of such power.
He was chill about the whole thing. Nice guy.

Today is two weeks in the new house, and it's really starting to feel like home.
We're settled in enough that I've been able to start playing with my home automation. So far, among other little things, the car and the space heater will share the same circuit nicely, and the hall light I keep leaving on will turn itself off.

The "ai" doesn't add anything; everything that matters has to be in the prompt, so please Just Send me that.

We've restarted ER, the hospital drama with baby George Clooney. It's very good if you're into that sort of thing.

Also really enjoyed Murdoch Mysteries, turn of the century crime drama. They're still making episodes, but there's like 20+ years of old seasons too. Some highly entertaining characters in this one.
