@kaia Hahaha... that is so funny. Even though you are middle class if you have a qualification generally speaking. Then they created worthless degrees...

"Credit Suisse's Global Wealth Report 2014, released in October 2014, estimated that one billion adults belonged to the "middle class," with wealth anywhere between the range of $10,000–$100,000."
Oh, come on! $10,000 in your bank account makes you middle class? If you were frugal, then you could make this in a year on minimum wage. Doesn't make you middle class shit.

@lain @thatbrickster Looks like a lot of bus type vehicles too. Truly the way people got around.

@tk @anemone @vriska @lucy Unless they are disabled, then I don't think a test is going to make a difference. It's not difficult to be on your best behaviour during a test and then going rogue when you are passed.

@anemone @tk @vriska @lucy I feel like running a car is already expensive enough that we would just be pricing the poor out.
Also, I think that foreigners are some of the worst drivers and at parking here. Probably because they come from places where the driving rules and culture is different.

@sun Please consider that they responded badly too so you were reacting to that. They were being rude because they were triggered and you can call them on it. But perhaps in politer terms.
I have someone on my timeline that posts similar stuff on that side and it can be a challenge to remain calm. But I like the challenge to recognise when something alters my state of mind like this and then decide to move on if I don't have anything good to contribute. To just let other people be to have their opinions on things which I don't have to engage with.

@icedquinn @Jain @john The mastodon community has been a general disaster for the fediverse and made it a more closed off, drama-filled and miserable place. Before them, admins would block instances for legal reasons alone and some of this was because the tools were still being developed that would work better. Now we have an instance blocklist and all the drama you'd expect from this.
