    I never saw Slayer, but I have heard. The craziest pit I have ever seen was in Portland, Maine, I can't remember the name of the club. Blood for Blood started their set with "If anyone's got any problems with anyone else in here, this is your chance to settle it."

    It was more like a riot than a mosh pit.

    I lived in Southern Arizona around that time. I grew up in the northeast going to shows around Boston, RI, CT. I saw Hatebreed at that club in Tucson. I took one look at that pit and said to myself, "Well, if you go in there and do what you're used to doing back home you are going to jail."

    I have spent a fair amount of time engaging with Indians of the upper caste. They are competent and I don't doubt a single word of what Rashmi has to say here, but he's left out a very important piece of information about the high caste Indians. They fucking hate us.
