since you use the word "industry," i assume you want to do it for pay so the "anything else" is the biggest piece of advice

Don't publish to ANY platform unless you keep your rights

both Radish & Vella are legit but i would say the majority of serial apps are borderline scams with contracts that give them ownership over your story & characters

what's annoying is there doesn't even have to be a crime, just some bozo in a uniform can decide there must be a crime or a person who looks like that or who drives that car wouldn't have any cash...

it really hurts people trying to lift themselves up, have some money saved, but are not yet able to access a bank

one of the guys i knew was formerly homeless, cops took every penny he had ($20K) that he earned working for our team 😠

the "reply guy" was partly right-- the law was based on maritime law & under maritime law, well, property has no rights

but also you're asking the wrong person, as far as *i'm* concerned, civil forfeiture of cash IS an unreasonable seizure

the trouble is... no one cares what *i* think

while many people think it's wrong that others have cash-- that whole "crabs in a bucket" thing that has regular people tearing each other down

since i worked in a cash biz (gambling) i know many people this has happened to

you can't overturn on constitutional grounds because property doesn't have civil rights

nor do you get the money back by proving you're not guilty of a crime (it's not about you)

nor do you want to change the law to incent cops to convict people of crimes to get their cash

it's straight up legalized theft by cops

Y2K... turned out to be a nothing burger because programmers like my husband worked relentless overtime to stop it from happening... the bug was very real in heavy industry (he programs industrial scales & automated factories)

be wary of media telling you "nothing to see here!"

i & some others may feel it's only right to mock fascists who hold power over our lies for being in denial about who they are-- this man thinks he's our genetic superior so yes he can be mocked when it's proved he's subject to the same illnesses as anyone

To assume conspiracies don't exist is arrogance- it's the assumption that all bad people are stupid & incapable of planning together

Since some conspiracies are real & all involve lies & secrets, then we can't be 100% correct in identifying which are real & which false- we will ALL make some mistakes
