Netanyahu's move to draft ultra-Orthodox Israelis will likely topple his government in the near future. This group has been spared from compulsory military service in the past, and their anger over the decision will quite possibly shatter the ruling coalition.

ICE clusterfuck. Sheer incompetence on display. Agents insisted on putting a voluntary Indian deportee on a flight from Seattle to Alaska. He had paid for his own return flights home.
Despite warnings from airline personnel that this was not the correct flight, ICE forcibly boarded him. He was actually booked on a flight to New York City. The man was stranded in Alaska and then sent back to a detention facility before being returned to India.

@jeridansky I remember reading about Tehran's severe water crisis late last year. The city was already in imminent danger of running out of potable water. War can only exacerbate an already dire situation.
Tehran is more populous than New York City, metro area is home to more than 16 million people. 😔

@bmacDonald94 One of my greatest musical regrets is missing a War concert. A few years ago I had tickets to see them in a small venue, but caught some horrible virus flying home, and could not even leave my bed.
I did have the pleasure of seeing Eric Burdon with the New Animals. During the last tune a bunch of us were able to go on stage and dance!

@jeridansky When I saw this news I checked to see how many US states have fetal personhood laws. I was aghast to find that 19 of them have passed some form of this legislation.

who's changed their name, including 80% of married women, needs to be aware of this.
W/o a current passport or documents proving the change it doesn't matter what other ID you possess. You will not be able to vote.
The Brennan Center says that at least one third of women do not have the documents required.
I can vouch for the expense and difficulty of getting old marriage/divorce records from states I hadn't lived in for years.
This law disenfranchises women. Act accordingly!
