I got something nasty too. Only 3-1/2 hours of sleep last night according to my FitBit. No fever. SpO2 was fine.

For the nose I use a saline nasal spray. Put 3 to 6 squirts up each nose cleared me all day today.

I'm trying to avoid an expectorant. Letting my body cough it out. Taking my daily medicines.

Going to bed early tonight to recover the missing sleep.

Yeah - lightning can be a big problem with long runs. A sort of close strike can cause 1V per foot of voltage on a line. At 300 feet that would be 300 V. Not good w/o lightning protection (cheap if you buy it ahead).

I'm thinking the author looks too narrowly at the situation. Effective control doesn't necessarily require occupation.
