I haven't seen any gloves that are very abrasive on the fingertips. Maybe some gardening ones with a very grippy resin layer or something, or giant heat resistant ones for working with molten metals. Those would be challenging to play rhythm games in, I'd like to see someone try.
The ones on the picture are soft all around.
Any touch will "damage" the machine in sense it will wash the colors out with time and such, with gloves or without. Don't get what other damage you could mean.

How are they different from regular good light working gloves, e.g. mechanix?

This is called "investment". Not vibe coding, just putting money (time, social connections, etc.) into your job to get more out later.
Some people prefer this approach, because it doesn't tie them to their current employer. Employers paying for e.g. tech courses often has strings attached, like "you will work here for at least half a year after you finish the course we payed for or pay us back for it."

They still make Miatas, and the current one is better than the last.
Granted, the previous one was worse than it should, but still. ND is cool.

I purposefully avoided the topic of enforcement, as it, indeed, bleeds into software.
I am only saying that the part that needs enforcement — region locks among them — are bullshit already.
Bypassing this enforcement is possible and usually easy, but that id illegal. Copyright owners will scream that me using my lawfully obtained licensed copy of the media for noncommercial purpuses in a wrong country is PIRACY. That is BS, but still technically illegal.

That isn't. But forbidding me from enjoying the media based on my current location and the location the media was "intended" for — is.

Educational media is not entertainment and is often necessary for work. Yet sometimes you can't play it because you have the "wrong" equipment, or bexause of borders again. Even though you have paid the rightful owner their due.

Why "more strict than necessary"? Or rather, who sets the global necessity level?
They are free to make their stance. I hate media licensing maybe more than software licensing. Like you take your lawfully obtained CD that you own over a line in the sand and it's suddenly illegal to play it. There are more examples.
Fuck proprietary media. Free media can still be paid for, just like free software.

I generally think your own timezone is fine when either you are the only user or everyone is in the same timezone, but if there is anybody with different local time everything should instantly be UTC.
A shame I can't convince anybody I work with to do so, and there are servers I need to look at literally everywhere from US to Japan, all with their local time set up.

As far as I looked into it, either only or the majority of the "blobs" are the waveforms for the screen. And they are not even code, not executed, so I can live with them being present on a separate partition for the FOSS driver to look at.
Anyway after a year thousands of km away from my paper book closet, the withdrawal was too close to killing me. This is the most free one for the foreseeable future, as no e-ink manufacturer shares their waveforms.

Those are all separate models trained on different things.
Parrots just have less memory, so they can't store all of that random text. They also don't burn MegaWatts of power for storage alone.
LLM don't *know* anything though. They have a huge library of tokenized text, and they will give you back the tokens most often seen together with ones you provided with your query.

Stuff, but not actual speech. LLMs have reinforced learning that kinda crutches that in, similar to methods available with parrots.
The difference is parrots can also fly, push buttons and be cool, all while not burning 1000W continuously.

It is fatual though. LLMs just tokenize your words and spew out the tokens most often seen together in the training data, with some specific actions like googling strapped to some tokens. It's literally the same thing as a parrot.

    As a small language model natively speaking a non-roman language, I don't.
I haven't encountered the word "semantics" much, so my answer will be straight from DuckDuckGo.

It's "talking to a parrot" actually. Techbros just overclocked it, losing 95% of efficiency on the way.
