I have the most flat-resistant tires available & AAA & better world club! I still worry about what I would do if my bike broke down and they were ~hours~ away, because no one I know owns a truck, SUV, or minivan that could carry it.

I got maybe my 2nd flat in 15 yrs last week. Happily, I carry patch kits. Sadly, the solvent dried out in [1] & the self-adhesive patches in the other[2] no longer self-adhered. Went to a couple LBSes to get rubber solvent, but one said "just replace the whole tube." Not eco-friendly. Another sells only self-adhesive patches, but I did get a kit w/a 5ml tube of solvent.

Bad luck with drivers today I guess. Lady driving a Subaru SUV in a bike boulevard honked at me and gestured for me to move over. I was to the right, just outside of the door zone. Not my fault your SUV is so big 😡. And you live on a bike boulevard.
