@daihard @pete @ascentale I’ll vouch for GravelKings. My bike came with WTB slicks in 48mm, and they were fine. But at replacement time I wanted something a bit less hefty. I’ve been using GravelKings in 42mm, both slick and with small knobblies, and I’m sticking with them.

Pete (pete@toot.bike)'s status on Monday, 23-Dec-2024 03:09:18 JST Pete @ascentale @daihard A8 #BikeNite I think unless your rides are particularly gnarly/muddy, you’ll be fine with them. Perhaps just drop a little pressure in the winter/if it’s slippy as for any tyre.
FWIW, I’m running Vittoria Mezcals (650b 2.1”) all year round on my gravel bike, and Panaracer GravelKing SKs (700x38mm) on my less gravelly gravel bike. For group road rides I’d go with something speedier, but for mixed terrain group or solo rides these do me nicely. -

Phil (ascentale) (ascentale@sfba.social)'s status on Monday, 23-Dec-2024 03:09:19 JST Phil (ascentale) And tonight's last question is from @daihard:
Q8. My new Marin DSX 1 comes with "WTB Riddler" tires. I have no experience with WTB tires, much less the Riddlers. Are they good all-season tires? I plan to keep them as long as I can, but if they're not suitable for year-round riding, I may switch sooner to those that are.
(What tires would you recommend for year-round riding?)
