   Q2. What tools would you personally recommend cyclists carry on-bike? Not types of tools, but specific models, with context (type of ride or rider).

   I will start with the Wiha 66994 ball-end long hex wrenches. It's a 9-piece set, but I only carry the 3, 4, 5, and 6 mm wrenches for local, in-town rides. I find these are more effective and usually lighter than fold-up multi-tool types, and are the tools I most often need for adjustments.

     This is my underseat tool roll that I switch to whatever bike I’m riding.

     Left to right:
     1. Patch kit
     2. Spork (sometimes I’m fixing me)
     3. Pedro’s milk lever
     4. Knipex adjustable pliers 5”
     5. Wolftooth 8-bit Kit One
     6. Crank Bros Gem (looking for replacement but it’s fine)
     7. Park spoke wrench SW-7
     8. Brooks saddle bolt (I’ve broken these before)

     Sometimes I add extra things for a specific ride, but this is everyday tools.

     I think that might make a good #BikeNitePQ: What's in your kit? Should be good for a bunch of pictures, although it's asking BikeNiters to do a lot more work than the usual questions.
