Monday #Workout:
200 seconds of plank.
11 minutes of yoga for runners.
10 minutes of strength training.
10 minutes of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).
12.5 KM of #Running (0°C, 100% humidity, and 5 km/hr wind) in light rain.

Back to regular plank (whew!). Quick workouts, then a run in light, cold train, slogging through slush, snow, and some ice. Had a great time of it.

Rinsed my shoes out in the shower to get the salt out.

@evan Where do we send 20 million people though? The suffering caused by that kind of an evacuation would be unimaginable as we don't have the infrastructure to handle that many - even one percent of that.

@dansup @PixelFed I’m curious what the medium-term plan is for Pixelfed; will you be transferring ownership to a not-for-profit similar to what Mastodon has done? Seems to me to be the right thing to do.

5.3 KM of #Running #Cycling (-11°C, -22°C winchill, 74% humidity, and 40 km/hr wind, gusting to 58 km/h).

Workouts were good.

Tuesday and Thursdays are supposed to cycling, but I'm not really equipped to deal with with heavy sub-zero winds (I'm still feeling out winter cycling).

Decided on a short run that was surprisingly quick for me, even in the crazy wind.

There are some tax advantages (we’re both in 🇨🇦) to buying a computer in the last days of the year, so that’s worth considering.

Don’t forget to check the Apple refurb store- same warranty, less expensive.

I lease my machines, which is also handy, by making hardware upgrades regular.

@dansup That sounds reasonable. I’d suggest ten *active* (this week) users. As time goes, I’d make it a mix of number of accounts, age of account(s), and activity of those account - to make it harder to create spontaneous spam waves.
