     @mkljczk anti-spam mitigation actually, and common outside of the fediverse. 10 followers isn't exactly a Kardashian level of followers though to be honest, I think it's a good compromise to discourage (not prevent) spam accounts.

     @dansup That sounds reasonable. I’d suggest ten *active* (this week) users. As time goes, I’d make it a mix of number of accounts, age of account(s), and activity of those account - to make it harder to create spontaneous spam waves.
