Considering that #ChatGPT now has โmemoryโ, it would probably be the right moment for you to stop using it.
Switch to a local LLM instead. https://youtu.be/ZnRgrDs4qM4?si=JUcy6Xiz4N4EDL-3

@killyourfm while we are waiting for them to calculate it with their aducated guesses - I went ahead and used ChatGPT to tell me that PS5 Pro will be Radeon 6800, basically.

@killyourfm LLM FTW hehe
@killyourfm also thanks for welcoming me back :P
I am genuinely disappointed in the Pro. Sony fans have announced a 40 teraflops GPU and what is this today? A Radeon 6750XT in the Pro?
@killyourfm I know two types of PlayStation gamers:
1. those who play in performance mode, always, and truly do not care about the pixel detail in the background
2. those who truly care about every single pixel on the screen and don't give a fu_: about framerate
Both of these groups have no need for a discless 800โฌ console.
@killyourfm ah, you are referring to lazy developers. Those who constantly whine about having a gun held against their head while being forced to develop for Xbox Series S.
"OMG my game is performing like shit, it's the Series S fault, I promise my code is optimized!"
Yeah, I can see the Pro being a developer-relief so they don't need to optimize their code anymore. Just give them more GPU headroom and a built-in upscaling tech and once again the Pro will not be able to do 4K.

New ยฃ4 #RaspberryPi with #RISCV cores just launched. New toy here I come! :ablobcatheart:
@freemo hi. there is a student who is doing a research on decentralized social media who I had a pleasant conversation with. If you can spare an hour of your time I would like her to hear about your experiences with moderating the Fediverse. :ablobcatcoffee: @marhshay
@hellvolution is this your new account or how come I am not following you?
@hellvolution you picked a good instance. I like this @freemo admin dude.
@tyil this is probably not helpful at all but I use Flatpak Element on Debian and I am checking out Nheko. I am also on FF ESR.
@tyil the mental health part I agree 100% with you. Itโs just that I prefer native software and not โweb appsโ and thatโs why I am testing Nheko.
@tyil I am hoping that Matrix could be a better path for the future (for people) than Discord is. I still remain hopeful.
@killyourfm yeah, it's certainly not the end of the world. I rushed it because I wanted to start...
@killyourfm I am impatient. I have been impatient when I spent $25 on that domain yesterday and now I am impatient to get the bloody site up an running.
But I am still unsure if I am happy with the domain name. The same one without the dash is also available, btw. But I am lost...
Is putting a dash in your URL a bad idea?
Anyone who is reading this plays #Linux games on their TV in the living room? What's your setup? Do you just have #SteamDeck hooked-up with a dock or do you use Steam Link software on your TV to stream #VideoGames from your gaming PC or do you have a "Steam Machine" type of a dedicated device just for TV #gaming? I wish to hear about it.
@LinuxRenaissance at 16:45 there is something for you @libreoffice
@freemo I would expect no less based an answer from you. :drake_like:
I know a lot of people who say pirating is bad because people lose jobs because of that, and the company earns significantly less money... The very same people are okay with borrowing and even finding the best 2nd hand deal so they can finish the game fast and sell it for slightly more than they bought it for.
So, although I will always be pro-legal way of doing things, I can't quite wrap my head around my initial question.
