Well, 1.6bn decisions (40%) are taken by platforms purely related to users breaking their Terms of Service. (not illegal content)
This includes speaking out about #Palestine, something US big tech constantly censors Europeans for.
So what about with the other 2bn?🔽
That's why it's not possible to simply reply “ya sure” to every quote verification request. The response has to affirmatively state which quote it is for.
So I thought, instead of keeping a list of prior quotes in a local database, why not embed them in the ID (URI) of the verification stamp? That way the code could simply echo them back out for any future request.
Turns out this works! You can see an example here: https://fietkau.software/daily_rucks/ap/quoteAuth?stamp=2025-11-08;https%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fsome-post

Having DNS as an entry point is hard, because the target audience doesn't know yet that these letters - DNS - is what they need to search for.
So you need a better slogan. "Own yourself on the Internet" or just "Own the Internet", or something like that :)
Even if my vote is a protest vote (which it isn't), I still have a right to cast it.
My vote WILL count toward the candidate I'm voting for.
It doesn't not count against your candidate.
It doesn't count toward a candidate you don't like or I didn't vote for.
So, please, for the last time...
Sit your whole ass down with this 3rd party voting bullshit!
Stay mad that I won't vote for genocide, capitalism, imperialism, and racism!
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!
There's always a couple people like this every year (usually the same ones), and it makes me want to tear my hair out.
There is nothing wrong with the password resets. They worked fine for everyone else I did one for.
So why can't this person just log in, make a new password, and be done with it? What part of this is difficult?
I don't even comprehend what he is doing to have issues. 🐢 says it's probably password autofill. I dunno. 🤷♀️
@freemo I would expect no less based an answer from you. :drake_like:
I know a lot of people who say pirating is bad because people lose jobs because of that, and the company earns significantly less money... The very same people are okay with borrowing and even finding the best 2nd hand deal so they can finish the game fast and sell it for slightly more than they bought it for.
So, although I will always be pro-legal way of doing things, I can't quite wrap my head around my initial question.
