You say the speed limit is too high. People driving the speed limit will still be, in your personal arbitrary judgment, going too fast.

What exactly do you think you've accomplished by maybe slowing SOME of the drivers to a speed limit you think is too fast?

Maybe next time, as a presumed taxpayer, try talking to your government about whether the speed limit needs to be lowered.

Sometimes people have a good reason to be in a rush. In your desire to impose your values on others, you may cost them something precious they'll never get back.
