Was ich mir wünsche: Dass es in den verschiedenen Werkzeugkästen im Writer eine Vorschau gibt, dass man also, wenn man eine Tabelle einrichtet, sofort sehen kann, ob die Spaltenbreite stimmt, wenn man Aufzählungen einrichtet, sofort sehen kann, ob es die richtige Ebene ist usw.

Bei Lotus Smartsuite Word Pro funktioniert das einwandfrei (und auch bei InDesign).

Good fertilizers do not contain sodium. This is poison for plants.

I do not repot frequently. My older plants only every 5-10 years. There was never a salination of the soil. It's a question of the fertilizer's quality I think.

The filter for coffee/tea are ion exchangers. They exchange calcium ions for sodium ions. This salinizes the soil.

@derek Do you mean you have bought your soil from a producer? Then you should be aware that these artificisl soils often contain too much nitrogen: making green growing but no healthy plants. And at least after the first harvest you'll have to restitute what you'll have taken out with the vegetables.

Organic material is important to produce humus, but plants need also calcium, nitrogene, phosphor, sodium, magnesium, sulfur and a bunch of micronutrients. Only a correct analysis can show, what is necessary.

@killyourfm Several herbs grow only when and where they wish. In Germany we have a saying "Dill kommt wann er will" (Dill comes when it wants). And so it is.

@liztai I hope that there's no soap or detergent in your shower water because that kills rainworms and many other creatures in living soil.

Was bedeutet eigentlich "saisonal" ? Wenn man sich das Angebot in Supermärkten ansieht, kann man leicht auf den Gedanken kommen, Gemüse, Salat und Obst _müsse_ hunderte von Kilometern mit LKW oder Flugzeugen transportiert werden, weil man sonst gar nichts zu essen hätte.
Wer einen eigenen Garten hat, weiß das ein bisschen besser.
