My very healthy iris has decided to throw up one single flower spike. Any ideas? Why would it not want to flower? #flowers #gardening #horticulture

"Divide your Irises every 3 to 5 years. With age, Iris rhizomes get crowded and entangled and they won’t bloom as well."
I don't know, of course, how long you've been growing the irises at that spot.
My search term was "iris blooming alternation"
