I could see it being less of a disaster where theres a 1000 years of finding a niche and 80% of the (belongs there) population is 80% blood related to everyone else.
In utah, well, the history started 200 years ago and its all the sub cultures of europe clashing and the Mexican subcultures have been integrated and have their niches as well.
