The theory that economies grow: agriculture turns into manufacturing turns into service; is dumb as fuck. Service *produces nothing*, theres only so much value someone making food for you makes, if its a food truck driving to a construction site fine.
But boomers defrauding themselves with insurance, via their 401ks via social security via thier own taxes via the ponzi scheme with the hot stock market with house only they can afford; their are all justs steps for someone to steal money and doesnt make more machines.
A service economy is just more and more complex fraud. Its a death, not the next stage of development.

I truely hate the modern world actively breaking things
I try to move download some music from an invisous instence, most are dead the few left dont seem to allow down loads
I pull out yt-dlp, fine
I go to move this to my cheap mp3 player, it spazzes out and dies
I plug in my tablet... as far as I know it doesnt allow mounting ever
syncthing it is
I click to play it "would you like to open this in youtube music"
Please, for the love of god, let me just have files and simple tools again.
