    @alex Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of artists don't seem to think too critically of how they learned to draw or write, or what they base their works off. These people act like they don't use references, or were ever taught or inspired by anything made by anyone. All that they create was revealed to them in a vision.

    @opal @alex @Twoinchdestroya Somewhat correct. I've fed AI ideas that I've had and it's added a little more too, so it can go both ways.

    At the very least, current iterations of AI are excellent for "throwing spaghetti at the wall", it helps to generate and refine ideas and concepts quickly. It's extremely useful for that.

    You could use payphones then. Or maybe an antique phone that works even if it's not connected.

    I guess what I mean is, in most stories set today, you have to explain why the phone doesn't work. It magically lost signal, in a building that gets poor reception, the batteries died, the person didn't answer their phone. It was bad with home phones (the cord always gets cut), and now it's really bad with cell phones.

    @apropos @deVoid I've heard that before, but I don't think it's true. People don't have a visceral disgust reaction to seeing monkeys, chimps, apes, or people of other ethnicity (often they get curious, expressed as both interest and fear).

    I think uncanny valley has more to do with avoiding people with serious aliments. They may be contagious, and it may even be as simple as not wasting limited resources on the deformed retard.

Naruto spent much of his life trying to get everyone to like him, and so is unable to totally devote himself to a small number of people, including his own kids. Boruto's hatred of his dad is kind of justified, but the anime makes Boruto come off as spoiled.
