We were lucky enough to get seats for this (see below). A full symphony orchestra of talented youngsters and some oldies playing along with Capitan Mercury. A fabulous couple of hours of first class entertainment all round. What startles me the most is the fact it was free entrance and no inflated bar prices... UK please take note...but then again the general attitude to life here is more socialist...
@Ea5iyl I've argued this point for years, as you point out it isn't amateur radio. This to me goes hand in hand with amateurs charging for software etc. Designs should as with s/w be open source. Otherwise your a business and shouldn't associate your callsign with it.
@botvolution I was just thinking about it and I vaguely remember an amateur telling me about long latency CRTs being used in SSTV. I never actually came across one
