This was next to the Pizza Hut parking lot up in Jasper Georgia. It was a line of of Thistle that extended this far in One Direction and further in the other direction.
Needless to say, it was absolutely hopping with bumblebees because they love this. There were also three or four goldfinches working the margin.

This is a striped wintergreen, it is an extremely common wildflower of the North Georgia under story. I had to bend the plant over so that the bloom was facing upward. It’s normally it faces towards the ground.

This is the antenna tower for the radio station WKXJ in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
They have large satellite antennas around back, but those are down in a dip.
I have no idea what I’m looking at here. It was just an eighth of a mile from a destination of mine up there, so I decided to swing by and take a look.

@ai6yr if they are largish green beetles, that sounds a lot more like what in Georgia we call June bugs. Which are native.
Japanese beetles are much smaller - about the size of a dime, and brown.

@georgepenney the bit with the figs makes me think of when me and my ex would get boiled peanuts in Georgia United States. We started getting individual bags. Cause if we got one large bag, then whoever was in possession of it, which was generally me would snag all of the large ones for themselves.

Any good meditation apps that are very low price? I can't afford Headspace at the moment (which I used and loved once upon a time). I need to calm my brain, and get my concentration back. I also can't do it on my own.... yet. That will come back.
