    This is a Roland UM4, it converts from USB to old school external midi ports. I bought it from a retired musician in Blouberg. He took a lot of time to explain that it only works with Windows 98. Not Windows 95, not Windows Me. I plugged it into my Debian testing/Trixie machine though and it picked it up just fine.

    Cleaning up my WordPress instance to prepare it for export. Over the last 20 years, I've accumulated 120 draft blog posts, many of them were even close to finished. Yikes!

    @andrew_shadura static pages rendered by Flask. Perhaps some live Flask endpoints too, depending what I want to do with Fediverse integration / comments. Surprisingly, for most of the useful WP plugins I used, there's a Flask plugin. I've also been relatively good and wasn't too frivolous with WP plugins.

    @zleap @futurebird They're busy doing exactly that aren't they? As in, it's 240V coming into new houses and then they have transformers in the homes to scale it down to 120V for small appliances where dryers/ovens etc have special plugs and run directly off the 240V circuit

    @magicalgirlsabrina Nothing wrong with having hope, and if anything, hope is more important now than ever. Probably not the best time to say this, but hope, for all the good that it is, is not a strategy. For months I've seen people ignore huge issues with the democrats affecting their voting base in the hopes that it just won't be an issue, and Kamala turning against a big part of her voting base ended up costing her dearly.
