I don't like the idea, I think many people do not mention their expertise in their bio, for many different reasons. I worry we're making things too complicated attempting to resolve an issue I haven't seen mentioned in the time I been in Mastodon, but I reckon my knowledge is purely anecdotal.

I think there's consensus on the issue of money in politics: it needs strong regulation, corporations shouldn't be able to contribute to candidates, parties nor PACs.
Regarding the "two party" system it is more a consequence of primary-general election system, and state election laws, than a constitutional matter. We can't forget the perversion created by gerrymandering, that must be addressed. -

Racial dynamics, relations and history are very different in the US and Europe, even terminology differs considerably. It's very hard for most US and European folks to understand each other on most social (not just racial) issues.
