The ceasefire that was brokered between the #SNA (backed by #Turkey) and the Kurds of #Rojava (North-East #Syria) is still holding both in the city of #Aleppo and on the #TishrinDam on the #Euphrates river

The ceasefire was brokered with the support of the (US-led) "Global coalition" and the intervention of the army of the new Syrian transitional government (former #HTS), which will act as interposition force between the warring factions

President Zelensky and President Trump just signed a deal for the construction of a huge golf resort in Ukraine.

The golf resort, which will be built just north of the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol, in Crimea, will occupy an area of 12 acres with 15 18-holes golf courses, making it the largest golf-resort in the world.

After this admission by the US government, all the countries of the world should sue immediately the US Government for damages!

on the other hand I think that it has been the people's need for social connections through techonolgy taht made possible the emergence of these narcissistic self indulgent billionaires in the first place.

we should move on, maybe understand that social media are public spaces, with public interest.

The problem of quitting Facebook and Instagram and Whatsapp is that a lot of people there have accounts with their real names, so that it is a way to stay in touch with people you knew in person

Well, I signed up in Facebook for this: to stay in touch with the various colleagues while in Erasmus

But I'm starting to delete all the "friendship" and follows of public figures
If they want, I can follow them in the web or in other social media, like this one

the voice masking technology is because he is an intelligence officer, not because he suspects it could be a war crime (since there's no court that would prosecute him for that).

but russia/NK taking pains to hide their involvement by using fake documents make these people irregular fighters which lose all protections afforded to POWs. 🤔

I think Chemezov (CEO of Rostec, a state military insustrial company, and personal friend of putin) won over Nabiullina (head of the central bank)

This is a way of devaluing salaries and pensions, hinder civilian imports, help oil exports, and then keep russian companies afloat.

If this is the case, I even doubt that the central bank will increase the interest rates despite the inevitable rising inflation.
