Ukrainian forces report that they destroyed a Russian "Nebo-M" integrated multi-functional radar system using ATACMS missiles.
Russia only possesses 10 of those systems, with an estimated price of $100 million.
Ukrainian UAVs have struck the Borisoglebsk air base once again. Pictures document fires pointing into the direction of the vicinity of the air base and the NASA FIRMS map indicates that besides some surroundings the air base itself is indeed on fire as well.
Rest in Power, Kris Kristofferson aka Rubberduck.
I don’t know how many times I watched the iconic „Convoy“ movie, but as a little boy it made me dream of the USA and enjoy Country Music.
He will now race with Burt Reynolds aka Bandit in heaven.
Interesting footage of a Leopard 2 tank towing a T-72 from the battlefield in the Kursk region. The German-made tank receives a hit and the turret catches fire, but the automatic external fire fighting system suppresses the fire and enables the tank to complete the evacuation.

“It took 15 years to built the oil storage in Proletarsk. All burnt down in a week.”
The fires in Proletarsk are not completely extinguished, even after 10 days, but there is not much left either. That facility is gone.

A powerful explosion occurred at the Gazpromneft oil refinery in Omsk, Russia. The facility is burning.
Day 8 in the oil depot of the Proletarsk, Rostov region, in Russia and the fire is still raging. The smoke has even increased and blocks the view at the nearby highway, forcing cars to use dirt roads.

Russians have been covering more and more of their oil facilities with nets. I understand that cope cages on tanks might mitigate some of the damage and FPV drone can do, though in many cases it is not enough, but they carry charges of up to one kilogram. The warhead of an UAV is far bigger, e.g. Lyutyi drone has up to 75 kg. I don’t think that this net won’t make much of a difference.
115 Ukrainian soldiers are returning home from Russian captivity and sing the national anthem of Ukraine on Independence Day. What a powerful message.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces have used a new weapon system called “Palyanytsya”, a missile-drone. It is possible that this new weapon struck the ammunition warehouse in Voronezh region last night, instead of the Neptun missile. The target is more than 110km from the Ukrainian border.
The specifics of the new weapon are not disclosed, but my guess is that it is a drone propelled by a jet engine.
Another explosion occurred in the pilot storage facility in Proletarsk, Rostov region, in Russia.
Even after almost 3 days, the fire is still raging. Russia’s strategic reserves reduced to being fireworks.

Russian forces are starting the dig trenches around the nuclear power plant of Kursk near Kurchatov in Russia. Yes, the Russian 3-day war has reached this point. If this is not absolute “confidence” I don’t what it is.
