Ukrainian paratroopers of the 95th Brigade released a video showing the works of a German-made Marder in Kursk. The IFV is engaging Russian troops in Mala Loknya and blasting their hideouts with its 20mm to bits.

This happened probably several days ago.

As I mentioned few days ago, the Ukrainian operation in Kursk blew away the last illusion of any seriousness of Russian red lines. They don’t exist and are pure bluffs to prevent or at least delay Western deliveries.

President Zelenskyy made that point public, too, with a clear massage to some Western detractors who still allow themselves getting fooled by Putin.

Czech President Petr Pavel says that Ukraine can be admitted to NATO despite not having control of its entire territory.

"I believe that the complete restoration of control over the entire territory is not a necessary condition. If there is a demarcation, even an administrative border, then we can consider this administrative border temporary and accept Ukraine into NATO on the territory it will control at that time."

Ukrainian authorities have issued evacuation orders for the civilian population of Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, in Ukraine. Around 53,000 civilians - among them 4,000 children - are still in the city.

According to several Russian war blogger the last of the 3 bridges over the Seym River west of Korenevo, Kursk Region, has been destroyed by the Ukrainian Army. Russians tried to compensate by establishing pontoon bridges with one north of Glushkovo at those coordinates:

51°22'28.42"N, 34°36'40.84"E

But NASA FIRMS maps confirm that exactly that spot is already burning, indicating that Ukrainian artillery is already bombing this area.

In the east of this sector Ukrainian forces most certainly closed the gap by reaching the Seym River. The villages Snagost and Vishnevka have fallen to the Ukrainian advance.

Meanwhile in Tetkino the Russian troops in the town are getting hammered by air strikes and artillery.

Russian forces extended their defense networks in the Kursk Region (red). They concentrate their defense lines along the E-38 highway (green), especially south of Kurchatov. It is obvious that an Ukrainian advance here would be their biggest fear.

Another huge explosion in the oil depot in Proletarsk, Rostov region, in Russia occurred. The facility has been burning for more than 24h. The latest explosion injured 18 fire fighters, 5 of them severely.

Pro-Russian war bloggers are "encouraging" civilians in the districts of Rylsk and Lgov to leave the area. They also add that they do not want to add "panic" to the situation and urge to stay calm, but it is obvious that those are just words. Russian units are not getting things under control.

FPV drones are already firmly operating in this area which means that the Ukrainian spearheads are already in striking distance.

Ukrainian forces of the 501st battalion have taken the village Apanasovka, Kursk region, further disrupting Russian lines between Korenevo and Glushkovo.

Visual confirmation that the second bridge in Zvannoe above the Seym river, Kursk region, has been damaged beyond repair and usefulness for heavy-duty transports. Only one intact bridge in that sector remains.

European parliament member and chairwoman of the defense committee of the EP, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann refutes that Germany is cutting defense aid for Ukraine. She even emphasizes that the current momentum against the barbaric Russian invasion must be used and the military aid for Ukraine extended.

This is one of the stories which leaves me laughing.

Russians tracked an Ukrainian M270, which fired a salvo of GMLRS. Then they lost eye contact and found a few kilometers from the firing position what they thought was the M270. It was, however, an inflatable decoy. Russians apparently didn’t notice this and called in an Iskander-M strike.

Ukrainian forces have reached Safonovka, Kursk Region.

What is most intriguing is not only the extent of Ukrainian control but also the fact that the attack there resulted from the North-West. Ukrainian forces are obviously operating in the entire area south, west and partially even north of it.

Furthermore, Russian channels report that the town of Korenevo is starting to get encircled from North and South.

Ukrainian forces eliminated the Glushkovo Bridge. Two consecutive HIMARS strikes ended that Russian bridge. Russian TG channel "Mash" reports that Russian militants were killed in the process.

Russians report that the Zvannoe Bridge a few kilometers west is also compromised, leaving only one bridge over the Seym River intact.

Once the last bridge is gone, Glushkovo and the entire southern district will be entirely cut off.

Advancing Ukrainian forces in Kursk captured a fully intact T-90M tank of the Russian army.

It is absolutely obvious that Russians cannot establish a coherent frontline and constantly lose troops and hardware by being outflanked.

This Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber crashed in the Irkutsk region, Russia. Apparently, it was burning already long before it impacted on the ground. Crew allegedly ejected.

Ukrainian forces have started to take out bridges in the Glushkovsky district, starting with the biggest and most important one in Glushkovo itself. Apparently, GLMRS missiles punched several holes into it. The damage is already severe enough to prevent any heavy-duty trucks or tanks to cross the bridge.
