     Ukrainian Control (Oct, 2024):
     488,700 square kilometers (188,700 square miles)
     Additionally 1,100 sqkm (420 sqm) Russian territory held by Ukraine

     Russian Control (Oct, 2024):
     112,700 square kilometers (43,400 sqm)

     Overall:

     During the last 12 months Russia achieved a net surplus in additional land by around 600 square kilometers (240 square miles), which is roughly 0.1% of Ukraine's total size.
