   Does the US president really have the power to impose tariffs on imports?
   Isn't that a matter for US Congress?🤔

   Sorry for my ignorance of the US law, but if the President has this power, it is really weird.

     @elCelio he's already doing illegal stuff and congress does nothing to stop him, for instance he just shut down usaid, which normally needs a decision from both chambers of congress

     new taxes imposed without congress approval, foreign agreements changed without senate approval.
