what you don't see are West African military dictatorships complain about russia, because they like the dictatorship part of it.

Africa is big and diverse.
"the West" is losing opportunities by treating it as a big blob, instead of focusing on reliable partners.

Dictators like "President" Deby, son of "President" Deby (which stayed in power for 30 years straight - talk about coups! 🙄 ) is really not reliable.

I don't want to have anything to do with shit like that, as anyone who values human rights and democracy should.

there's much more to gain by establishing friendly, strong and long-lasting relations with African democracies.

Let's ditch any imperialist mindset and start to treat African countries like any other country.

The main difference I see between this year and 2022 is that people are advertising their move out from X to Bluesky in their accounts in other platforms.

On Youtube, Facebook: people are inviting their followers to join Bluesky.

In 2022 instead, they created their account on Mastodon, but then they went back to work for free for Musk's propaganda project.

The prospect that trump will get more than 50 electoral votes is beyond my capacity of comprehension.

His party sucks, his MAGA movement sucks, he sucks, everything he managed failed, he's clearly demented, both literally and figuratevely.

Kamala Harris is a normal healthy person with a fair career as public attorney, the Democrats are quite moderate and their proposals mostly make sense.

How can this election not be a sweep?
