the voice masking technology is because he is an intelligence officer, not because he suspects it could be a war crime (since there's no court that would prosecute him for that).

but russia/NK taking pains to hide their involvement by using fake documents make these people irregular fighters which lose all protections afforded to POWs. 🤔

they are in a bad situation. 😔
at least they weren't killed by their comrades but instead they get treatment in a hospital.
