Hehe, I was going to ask if you'd let the TUHS folks know, but was thrilled to see @robpike was on it.

Can't wait, @bitsavers!

> if contributions are licensed under AGPLv3 but not their commercial one (since they're not pointing to it in the document)โฆ works for me :)
Totally fair, but how would things work in practice? (I'm genuinely ignorant on this.) If I contribute a feature under AGPLv3, I assume they would be able to sell Dendrite + myFeature to a customer under a commercial license, correct?
I really need to go do some more reading.
@lanodan
That's gross. I would like to be able to assume oversight with AGPLv2 vs 3, but I can't and so I assume it's intentionally misleading.
I feel it should also be mentioned that they sell commercial licenses, so outbound could be 'commercial,' and I wouldn't want a contribution I make to end up being sold to someone under commercial license terms.

As a fat person, I tend to use "fat." I started doing it to be funny, but in casual conversation with friends/family I tend to say "fat."
If I'm talking to people I don't know, then I tend to say "bigger" or "larger" person.
@a1ba @jn @fossdd @famfo @lanodan
What OS do you run on it, out of curiosity?
@a1ba @jn @fossdd @famfo I'm still signed up to receive updates, but I don't expect I'll be getting my Icepeak Elbrus board :(

Yeah, I'm usually going for portability, so C99 is the most luxury I can usually have.
I do want to play with some of the C23 features after looking at them now, in particular stdbit.h.
#embed is also pretty neat; I've never had a use for it, but I enjoyed @thephd 's blog about getting it accepted into the standard: https://thephd.dev/finally-embed-in-c23
@VeroniqueB99 I really don't want to live here any more
@selzero @peterjriley2024 @erosalie lol, lots of penguins in Grimsby?

I don't know the original source of this one, but I've seen it quite a few times over the years

Yes! I've wanted to do exactly that quite a lot recently
@irene Had to double check which UW
@irene lol, no worries! It wasn't a critique, I just lived in Madison for ten years, so UW to me is the University of Wisconsin.
Bumped my @LWN subscription level to "Project Leader"
@inthehands @mcc Now I want to go around leaving math graffiti asserting unproven conjectures...
