@cas @lanodan @famfo @sertonix @domi i honestly believe most stuff in testing is stable and is literally no maintainance burden, but due to drive-by contributions they just sit there and nobody cares. i've been moving and moving more and more packages, its crazy which gems are still in testing. just as a example GNU time was 7 years in testing before i moved it to community 3 months ago.

@famfo this is so fucking sad. like ipv6 has been around for almost forever, but in most usecases its still considered second-tier. heck even in the current curriculum of my abitur we still learn mainly classfull!!! ipv4 ("obsolete network addressing architecture used in the Internet from 1981 until the introduction of CIDR in 1993"). how is this possible? im writing my exams in two months and i wont get points if i assume classless networking??

why does everyone want a comput er as silent as possible? so you instead of awesome calming fans, you hear, what, nothing?

listening to these fan noises makes calms me, i feel like a server too. its sooo awesome
