What operation is failing?
Are you able to mount, but unable to access files?
Are you unable to mount nfs exports?

Wow, so Google has to keep a database of all these links online indefinitely ... that's robust. For the sarcasm-impaired: that was sarcasm.
And, they can decide which document's links to "break" when they feel like it.
Stop. Using. Google. At. All. For. Anythhing.

Irc? Gopher?
I remember being a grade 1 or 2 kid, we lived on top floor (3rd floor) apartment. In a heat wave, parents said we could sleep on the floor instead of in bed.
It was a little uncomfortable due to hardness, but provided a little relief from heat.
@ryanc
I voted again and a bunch of results popped up, similar to the old results. So maybe the poll data is not lost.
Either that or a bunch of people re-voted. I didn't look at totals ... maybe
@johnefrancis @hacks4pancakes
It kinda made me worry less about pancakes, I think they cannot seize you and deport you from Canadian-based location? If Pancakes was rejected, they could have just got on a flight home instead of being sent to El Salvador (or wherever it is).
@spyro @GrapheneOS
"Get along"?
@evan Is the comparison result supposed to be transitive? Ie (ignoring incorrect results) if (a better than b) and (b better than c), can we conclude that (a better than c)?
@evan
The moment an ad shows up in youtube, I abandon the page.
Listening to your Gnu World Order podcast.
I always thought the "dpy" in "xdpyinfo" stands for "display": x display info.
Also, xeyes is useful for big, busy screens ... you can get a hint on where the cursor is by looking at the eyes. For those who do use the mouse, but seldom.
Plus it's fun to move the cursor in a figure eight around each eye and make them look left, up, crosseyed, down, right, up, cross-eyed, ... etc.
@gnuWorldOrder
May I suggest Montreal's tam-tam jam?
@evan I'm counting porridge as breakfast cereal.
Velociraptor = distanceraptor / timeraptor
@nasamuffin So, what do you do for a living?
I'm imagining the conversation between this guy and a first date ...
@evan This may be a topic which is true in theory, but in practice it could be dangerous for the organizers : -(
@clacke also: (maybe you know this already)
https://postgrey.schweikert.ch
It's a "postfix greylisting policy server"
To do with email/smtp
@clacke at least it's in their vocab
Even if they pronounce it wrong : -)
@clacke @evan Thanks for the link to the video ... Was nice to check it out. I usually listen to audio podcasts.
Happy Solstice!
The Police tried to arrest me for downloading the entire Wikipedia database!
I said, “but wait! I can explain everything !”
