Or to say it differently: If `git rebase main` (or is your main branch still called "Master"?) causes harm to any other person, then a lot went wrong and is broken before that.

And even a `git push origin main --force` should not cause trouble for others.

and when you can do `git push upstream main --force` ... you can probably also do a `DROP DATABASE production` and again there is so much more broken.....

'Cause Normalization just handles how the Unicode-Character is stored internally. So an 'Ä' should always 'look' the same, but the HEX-code might be different.

But transliteration converts from something into something else. And in your case you want to compare kind of based on ASCII if I see that correctly.

@saramg To be fair, the Intels could run PPC software (emulated) and the reason why they went intel is that they didn't get RISC processors in the amounts they needed. Otherwise there would never have been the intel intermezzo....
