@thomasfuchs Bridges like this are single points with significant impacts, though. So targeting them for unfair use of data, even if it is public, can be an effective use of personal energy. Repurposing your data in private is not an issue. But repurposing it *en masse* in public view makes it a target for criticism.
Unfortunately, they aren't the cause. Every evening I get random disconnects on my 5GHz channel. It was making remote play on my #Quest3 unusable. Fortunately I remembered that both the router and the headset can use the new 6GHz channel in Wi-Fi 6, which immediately solved the disconnects.
@jeffowski@BadWoof If you have the photo in the Photos app, you can copy text from any image from there. The Mona app works pretty well on the iPhone, though it is still missing Markdown support.
@jeffowski@BadWoof#AltText People often say, with pride, "I'm not interested in politics. They might as well say, I'm not interested in my standard of living, my health, my job, my rights, my freedoms, my future or any future…"
If we mean to keep any control over our world and lives, we must be interested in politics.
@gwynnion Here is an illustration of how climate change increases the likelihood of polar vortexes. Many places aren't prepared for the cold weather, and it can play havoc wth fruit trees and winter crops. The warm periods entice growth, followed by a cold snap that kills off buds and shoots.
@tchambers@alwirtes I was mod for a server with about 8000 active users. I had about 3-5 reports a day. I can't imagine the work increase with even Meta Threads coming online. I suspect admins will be forced to defederate fairly quickly just to keep up.
