   A few years later, the impact I and others wrote about Apple’s ATT has come to pass. The biggest losers have been niche mobile games and D2C e-commerce players who’ve lost targeted advertising.

   Big players like Google & Meta have adapted while smaller players like Snap & Twitter haven’t. As with almost all regulation, the incumbents have the resources to adapt while its the smaller players who drown in the sea of red tape and constraints.

     @carnage4life For people like me who had to look it up, ATT is Apple's App Tracking Transparency feature, where you can opt out of tracking. Here's a good article on how developers are working to bypass it: https://techcrunch.com/2022/04/08/apple-att-impact-study/
