My professor said all the drinking was a reaction to the Hays Code.

They receive a paper copy of the New York Times.
I could not possibly know, reading what's here, that the US' federal agencies are being deliberately destroyed, that the VP is catering to Putin, or any of the things that are actually important right now.

The organizers seemed really new and like they were learning on the fly very quickly. I'm waiting to hear how Olympia went.
I hope the success today means there are now some newly minted organizers ready to move to the next thing (and with maybe more communication explaining things like, e.g., here's what you do when somebody in the crowd starts hurling rocks or when the Brown Shirts attack.)

I've been trying to tell if the fire got to JPL. I see it's in the evacuation zone but it looked like the fire was pretty far west and was moving south not west.

I didn't know about Octavia Butler's house. I live in the #seattle area so I mainly know about her life up here.
