The Trump administration conceded in a court filing Monday that it mistakenly deported a Maryland father to El Salvador “because of an administrative error” and argued it could not return him because he’s now in Salvadoran custody.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF) - The Society of Civil Rights -  have filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) against Germany for its Federal Intelligence Service Act (BND Act). The organisations are reacting to inadequate reforms to the law, which does not take sufficient account of the necessary protection of media professionals. The decision could be a landmark judgement that would not only have an impact on the legal situation in Germany, but also trigger legal upgrades in all member states of the Council of Europe.

In the opinion of RSF and GFF, the German foreign intelligence service violates several fundamental human rights under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). Following the provisions of the ECHR and the Court's case law, intelligence gathering must have precisely identifiable objectives and may only be used for specific purposes, confidentiality relationships between media professionals and their sources require special protection.

Denmark’s “ghetto law”, which allows the state to demolish apartment blocks in areas where at least half of residents have a “non-western” background, constitutes direct discrimination on the basis of ethnic origin, a senior adviser to the EU’s top court has found.

It has been a week since a white terrorist killed 7 women and 3 men, all victims were immigrants. We heard him saying "get out of Europe" while shooting, Swedish police are still trying to find out the motive. Gaslighting us by refusing to call him a terrorist and refuse to see the killing as a terror attack against minority people in Sweden. We all know what the police, media & the government would say had it been a brown or black person who committed the terror attack. Fuck Swedish democrats!

@timnitGebru I was invited to speak at their Africa event in Arusha that they hold once every 10 years, they covered travel and a week hotel stay. Crazy thing first they insisted that I have to say in my speech "I am the light house of refugees", then they expected me an activist to pay to join the conference for the remaining days of the conference which after the speaker discount it would have costed me around $3000 USD. I decided not to go of course.

BTW, since last month I keep getting calls from Kidane Zecharias and he thinks I am the only one who can help him. I must admit that I really enjoyed hearing him beg me to help him 😂
I would love to interview him though.
