They do this by ensuring customer loyalty, which includes a good product for reasonable market rates, and better service that most of the companies operating within the law, who often try screw you over any chance they can

I forgot to mention, one of my children got a Kiwico grote with a bad part, first time in has happened in 5 years. Kiwico sent a replacement set, without question. They have incredibly good service

@azonenberg @whitequark IIRC most terminal window titles can be controlled with terminal escape sequences. I'm not sure whether that works with the tools you are using

@aryl @artemis @whitequark Digilent Kickstarted a project, discovered that the first units had a hardware flaw after they shipped, and then dropped all support for the devices, including scrubbing their website for docs, and not giving people who bought the unit away to work with the parts that did work.

The likelihood of me buying anything from Digilent is 0%.

Rigol, on the otherhand, is really great

I'm still blocked by them for daring for being one of the first to complain. He didn't just design stuff now, he showed off how he, as a cop, used to use the RaspPi to create surveillance equipment in the RaspPi magazine. And how it was useful to use it for surveillance

This wasn't an ex-cop who just stopped being a cop, he was proud of his accomplishments, and wanted to give you the tools to be a cop too

@ryanc @ajn142 I forgot to mention, on my old guest LAN people could ask for a "ticket" 🎟️ to get over an hour on the LAN. I didn't have it activated, however, due to a bug two devices would always trigger this behaviour: my kindle and the phone belonging to a friend

In some Indian dishes, I've made, and some European dishes a vinegar like substance is added to "breakdown" the meat, with a vegan substitute having too much vinegar (or vinegar substitute) might add unexpected sourness, when compared to the original. As the recipe tells the cooks to add the Kachampuli and then add water and simmer, my guess is that this is the case here. I'm happy to be corrected, if I'm wrong
