@bh I think I had to download them all individually but I can screenshot the workflow for you.
There are also bulk SoundCloud downloaders. JDownloader and NewPipe both have some of that functionality.

@brhfl thank you, updated
#SoundCloud updated its Terms of Service, apparently in Feburary,
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/soundcloud-quietly-updated-terms-let-155655189.html
Basically, unless you have a record label or other third party rights holder managing your SoundCloud, this line in the ToS applies:
"You explicitly agree that your Content may be used to inform, train, develop or serve as input to artificial intelligence or machine intelligence technologies or services as part of and for providing the services."
See: https://soundcloud.com/terms-of-use
They've doubtless already scraped my work, but they don't deserve to keep it if they pull T&C changes like this.
I'll be taking my stuff off there and hosting Faircamp, I reckon. Maybe dump the actually popular stuff over to Bandcamp for discovery purposes? (But is that just asking for this to happen again.)
@sarahdal can someone screenshot the locked BlueSky post, please?
@Diogenes this was genuinely fascinating, thanks @anon_opin
@tedzanzibar @anon_opin it really is
@eniko In a similar vibe, all the the EU grants programmes I can find that specifically address games as either art or entertainment... last posted anything in 2023
@fell Pop!_OS but I don't use Nvidia graphics cards so can't confirm how well that works. System76's own hardware does, though, so odds of the install pathway working are reasonable.
on a "provider comparison" site I'm getting prices as low as 196€/mo for the same energy use. still a whole lot and we'll definitely lose the luxury of long hot showers from now on, but if my math is correct 200 is a lot less than 316, that's like, 1300+ per year... still if I know my German scams there's probably some fine print somewhere that if I wanted to change providers I should have notified them by fax 4 months ago and now I'm required to offer my blood for twelve moons, or something...
@fesshole choosing to believe this is fake, cos no one's that much of an utter bastard.
@bright_helpings very smart

Niveau de défi: impossible
@untilted I say this specifically because more people I know in the indie/art games space, including those who've applied for arts grants are on BS, rather than here. But I'm not a fan of their model (personal data stores aside), so here I remain.
I'm also something of an acquired taste, so I hear you on that front, though.
Thank you! I'm travelling at [disgusting-in-the morning] tomorrow, but I think even though you're in the UK (I have a passport for there, but don't live there atm) there's still going to be some common ground, as I'm after a vibe check what's getting money as much as anything else.
I'll send a hopefully-not-too-onerous clutch of question as they come to me/get assembled in good order.
Oh, did you apply as an individual or as an organisation?
TYSM for the pointed, @torstentorsten !
@burningTyger Yes, you are correct, and I have collected several of these, thank you for the reminder of its importance.
However, I gather from lectures I've attended by industry peers who've taken this route that the climate and tastes of grant-giving bodies can be quite zeitgeist-driven both in terms of the the kind of art that's being awarded grants and the kinds of organisations favoured by different bodies.
For example, I would be wasting my time applying to a grant that has primarily favoured SMEs making mainstream commercial releases.
I'm after a vibe check as much as a bit of low-key mentoring.
I know this is the kind of question I probably ought to sign up to Bluesky to ask but:
Do I know anyone who's applied (successfully or unsuccessfully) for a European arts grant to help fund production of a video game or other forms of interactive art?
And if so, could I ask you a few incredibly basic questions?

That must be such a tremendous relief. I'm so happy you've moved somewhere that's actually habitable
