JFC the basic core of human society is that we look after each other, tens of thousands of years ago those of us out berry picking and hunting shared everything with the old, the injured and the young, not everyone can work to survive, so we share with them. it's like basic human 101. fucks sake. aargh

isn't there some million year old human skeleton with a healed broken leg, so they must have been cared for and loved and looked after even though they were no longer able to hunt or whatever

I seriously doubt our distant ancestors allowed one of their own to horde all the berries, take everyone elses berries, and then they all stood around going "wow what a genius" while starving to death

Terf is now a slur on Bsky

https://bsky.app/profile/forsardines.bsky.social/post/3k7h6ycuvyr2n but the reply here is only visible to logged-in users. The original post is from 2023, but the reply pointing out its label is from today, and folk are finding other anti-terf posts are also flagged

well that's ruined it for me. Completely unwatchable now.

@goatsarah really really speechless at how bsky are speedrunning it, I honestly thought it would be at least a year or two from the "big migration" before they started being shit, but no they've managed it in a month or so

@feorag men just can't play football

Greek lawmakers are expected to legalize same-sex marriage in a parliament vote Thursday, with a rare display of cross-party collaboration

This would make Greece the first orthodox country to do so

@goatsarah what a nightmare. I despair at the useless solutions this country is finding to things like energy efficiency and cutting down on fossil fuels

@goatsarah have you had any luck with air purifiers? In summer I run one in my bedroom all day with the door shut to provide an oasis free of dust and pollen at night
