My landord who basically never responds to my emails has increased the price of my rent by the usual 33€/month to continue avoiding replying to my emails. I’m not saying all landlords are bastards but my current ones ain’t trying to dispute that
Kind fediverse, I'm still trying to get out of this electric bill sized ball and chain to start getting properly back on my feet. Things have got better, but this situation tries to pull me back down.

@lain@kaia the Nordic version of prisons and incarceration is very different to most places. They do still have some not so great ones *cough*Denmark*cough*.
The system is more "open" in terms of the punishment is removing the freedom to leave the facility while at the same time having more autonomy within it and focusing on rehabilitation for an eventual release in to society.

I have to pay exceptionally : - Rent insurance to keep my home (512€ over two months) - Electric bill of 232€ + 86€ in arrears - Taxes, 600€ divided 4 payments - 105€ in bank charges for a failed lien on my funds by a creditor
