Generally I found just blocking FB's ASNs does a better job to keep them out, there are forum posts going back years about this particular FB crawler DDoSing even in the pre-AI world. I've personally been hit on many occasions by it

Found some sausages in the freezer under an ice sheet. They looked OK, cooked them up, and because my sense of smell is fucked offered one to the cats. They ran away. Technically they’re now my « staying alive » support animals

I’m watching a video about rich people bunkers and it’s clear these dumb fucks think the internet will still work after a nuclear explosion. That is of course assuming they don’t die from lack of permanent staffing at the facilities
