     @lain @kaia the Nordic version of prisons and incarceration is very different to most places. They do still have some not so great ones *cough*Denmark*cough*.

     The system is more "open" in terms of the punishment is removing the freedom to leave the facility while at the same time having more autonomy within it and focusing on rehabilitation for an eventual release in to society.

     Ironically, it was originally an American concept
