This was a nice read about alternative operating systems that are not Windows, Linux or MacOS. Most users could get by with an operating system and browser. That old or current hardware could get extra life.

@chris There are the podcasting 2.0 apps I hear about, they have a desktop web app and mobile app. Web solutions seem to be good if you're jumping from your different platforms.

I use Antennapod on my phone and do 99% of my listening on it.

Is anyone using the Zen browser? I recall there was a time when I saw it here daily but haven't heard about it in awhile. I'm curious if it is still a recommended Firefox alternative.

I did try it awhile ago on my work Windows laptop for a day but couldn't get into it. Have there been any big updates?
